Canada Day 2016 marked the 30 year anniversary of Expo 86, the World Expo that brought attention to Vancouver, BC. The Canada Day Expo 86 Pavilion was inside of Canada Place and featured a gallery of memorabilia from the World Fair as well as timelines showing where Vancouver began and where it's headed to.
As the Art Director for the Expo 86 Pavilion project I was responsible for coming up with the vision for the gallery, directing the designers, as well as managing the production of the signage and overall space. Our team was challenged by a two week turn around for the entire pavilion and a limited budget but in the end we were able to create a unique showcase that is now being turned into a permanent website.
