"Emergence" was a live acrylic painting that I was hired to create for Redbull Canada over 2 days at the Vancouver Mural Festival. During this time, Vancouver was experiencing smoke from all of the BC forrest fires. Although, the smoke was the cause of an unfortunate situation, it created a beautiful contrast next to the peaks of the BC mountains. This painting was inspired by some photography of Black Tusk in Garibaldi Provincial Park peaking out from the smoke.
